Increase relations with potential donors


The Organization’s goal is to create revenue in order to continue helping athletes, understanding how to communicate between different generations and socioeconomic cultures is very important in earning this money. “Vocabulary, syntax, idioms, slang, dialects, and so on all cause difficulty, but the person struggling with a different language is at least aware of being in trouble.” (Barna, 1994) Unfortunately, the cultural differences between subcultures are not as obvious to the troubled person. For example; because the same language is being used one might believe that communication would be clear and easy, however; because the culture of an investor can be drastically different than the culture of an extreme athlete the common language might give one a false sense of security.
